We Support New Business Development of Small and Mid-sized Companies

Providing business support in collaboration with local support organizations: As a local platform, the foundation supports companies that are entering into new fields or developing new businesses, in collaboration with other small and medium enterprise support organizations. Working closely with organizations within the prefecture that provide technological support, venture support, financing, marketing assistance, managerial counseling, etc., the foundation is ready to provide comprehensive support services.
Referring to managerial/technological experts: A staff composed of private-sector specialists gives suitable advice in response to client firms' requests for consultation and inquiries on the operation of the Kawasaki City Industrial Promotion Programs. A team comprised of a project manager well versed in private business practices, two assistant managers and other technical/managerial experts provides consultation to meet the needs of client firms.　
New business development in collaboration with universities: IIP helps companies to develop new businesses through incorporating technological seeds of universities. We facilitate coordination between firms and university laboratories by providing information on the technological seeds of university researchers, developing joint research projects with universities and other means.
Growth support for start-up and venture companies: We actively support entrepreneurs and help their venture companies to grow. We operate
Kawasaki Business Incubation Center(KBIC).
Supporting the spread of regional industry information and the advancement of information technology at firms: We endeavor to spread local industrial information to client firms via Internet and newsletter publications as well as providing IT-related support services. We will continue to expand the dissemination of event information and support service menus that we and other local industrial support organizations offer. We will continue to organize seminars on corporate strategies based on IT utilization, computer training, and foreign language seminars for business use to help IT training of employees.
Sponsoring inter-company exchanges, study sessions, and technological seminars: We support a forum among engineers and researchers of large/medium/small enterprises, advanced technology seminars and the operation of corporate joint research groups. We support exchanges and foster business opportunities through offering technology/management seminars and exchange events for researchers of laboratories in the city. We offer monthly practical study sessions with a small number of company executives, assisted by a coordinator. These sessions support inter-company exchange and new business development.　
Town revitalization around Kawasaki Station: As a town management organization (TMO) that plays a leading role in town revitalization around Kawasaki Station, we work closely with related organizations in the community to offer "soft events" and study on multifunctional card systems to support revitalization of the community.
Leasing of conference rooms, hall and exhibition space: We make our facility available for job training, group training and presentations to other companies. Our building is conveniently located within a 10-minute walk from the Kawasaki Station.
Promoting international networks: We provide relevant information and support corporate deployment in the global business environment, working closely with JETRO and the Kawasaki city government.
